Emily will share with us some basic financial planning tips as well as share a bit about the 2018 Tax Reform and Jobs Act and how that will impact us as individuals and for our small business owners. Hopefully, we can all find something to take action on to improve our financial picture.

“BUSINESS BEST PRACTICES FOR LIMITING LIABILITY” - Kathryn Wells

Going into business is exciting but is not without risk whether it’s from clients, vendors, co-owners, employees, or independent contractors. Business owners and contractors can take a number of concrete, actionable steps to limit their potential personal liability.

Kathryn Wells is an attorney at Wells Law PLLC where she works with estate planning and business clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Prior to starting her law firm, Kathryn spent time in banking where she worked with wealth management and legal departments. Before practicing law, she started her career as an IT consultant and is a graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law and Marquette University College of Business. Kathryn enjoys serving on the board of the Chrystal Lake Improvement Association and the Soar Leadership Council for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund as well as volunteering with the Wills For Heroes program.

"ROCKTAPE - COMPRESSION BAND FLOSSING" - Dr. Reid Nelles

"RockFloss explores the science of compression band flossing and fascial shearing to help improve joint mobility, reduce pain*, and enhance movement. RockFloss is the one of the latest additions to the RockTape tool arsenal to better equip each clinician, therapist or trainer to deliver superior patient and client outcomes. This RockFloss Course will introduce the concept of skin/fascial/nerve gliding to help reduce tissue swelling, improve movement and modulate pain* with the use of ‘compression band floss’. This course will cover the anatomy, physiology and neurology of the effects of compression band flossing on connective tissue gliding, tissue traction and tissue compression. Interventions with compression band floss (including direction and pressure concepts) will be reviewed and integrated into current rehabilitative concepts."
