Join the discussion on a free course offered by the American Massage Therapy Association on how you can protect yourself from legal malpractice action. Even the best massage therapists make mistakes or are perceived by a client as having caused injury through their professional services. This course includes actions you should take if you suspect you’ll be sued — or if it comes to pass that you are actually sued.

This course is facilitated by Sarah Haar and Erin Hewitt. The author is Jennifer Flynn is Manager for Aon/Affinity Insurance Services, Inc., Healthcare Division, specializing in risk management. Having worked in the healthcare insurance business for over 10 years, she is dedicated to educating healthcare professionals on professional liability risks and offers strategies to mitigate those risks. She has presented at professional organization meetings on healthcare risk management and other insurance related topics. This facilitators will not be able to give you any advice on matters containing to malpractice within your business. You will need to contact HPSCO directly.
