The AMTA - MN Community Service & Sports Team wants YOU!!
Team Orientation and Training - May 5, 2018 12:30 - 2:30 PM |
Become AMTA - MN Community Service & Sports Massage Team Certified in this 2. hour class. You will learn hands-on techniques and first aid training for on-site massage.
We will teach you the importance of on-site massage and different techniques for working with athletes and others, outside the clinic setting. This class certifies you to be a member of the AMTA-MN Sports Massage Team.
We strive to create a positive presence of the American Massage Therapy Association and its members within all communities. With over 25 years of operation within the state, we work hard to create strong relationships with other organizations and set the standard of education for the general public.
We are a team of volunteer massage therapists who give pre/post massage to amateur and professional athletes at different sporting events throughout the state. We also volunteer with communities around the state promoting the benefits of massage therapy in firehouses, police stations, community rec buildings and other areas where we can reach the public in a safe setting. Some of our events are paid events, as well.
